Beamline absorbers absorb higher-order modes in accelerators. If not damped, these modes would lead to beam blow-up.

We use a broad-band absorbing material that overcomes the limitation associated with absorber ferrites. Joining it into the metal and ensuring good heat transfer to the coolant: that is our wisdom.

  • Absorbed RF Power: >200 W

  • Beam Aperture: typ. 110 mm

  • Active Length: typ. 120 mm

  • Operating Temperature: 300 K … 4 K

  • Coolant: LHe, H2O

We know you will have different requirements. There is no copy and paste in accelerator design. You need 500 W, an aperture of 150 mm, and LN2 coolant?

What to expect:

We will work with you on the specs, come up with a design, and then take care of everything. Your turnkey component will be tested, cleaned, and clean-room bagged. You can expect delivery six months after design approval.
